About the Authors
Chet Raymo is a professor emeritus of physics and astronomy at Stonehill College in Massachusetts. For more than forty years he has explored the relationships between science, nature and the humanities as a teacher, writer and columnist for the Boston Globe. He is the author of seventeen books of fiction and nonfiction.
Maureen E. Raymo, Chet’s daughter, is a professor of Earth Sciences at Boston University. She has authored over sixty scientific publications on the topic of Earth’s climate and how it has changed in the past.
