Description

In the Zen tradition, the Ensō is written as spiritual practice for self-realization called hitsuzendō (筆禅道) “way of the brush”. Does the circle encompass the entire universe, or exclude it, containing nothing at all? Is it the moon? Or a rice-cake? Your call.
